About QaR
Quite-a-Riot Cosplay (QaR) is a female duo based out of Nebraska. They identify as cosplayers, performers, and mentors in the con community, with a not-so-secret mission to enable every would-be cosplayer within earshot to achieve their deepest, brightest, cosplay dreams.
Meet Your Maker
Adrienne
Adrienne has a Master’s degree in textile and apparel design, started out competing in Omaha and KC Fashion Weeks, and worked in alterations before she went to her first con and discovered her true people. As a jack-of-all-trades, she patterns, sews, foam-crafts, metalsmiths, paints, dyes, and digitally renders their cosplays, props, and competition books from scratch, collecting new crafting skills like Pokemon with the ultimate goal to catch ‘em all. She also helps out as Cosplay staff for Constellation and hosts Cosplay Camp weekends at her house that she hopes to one day turn into a full-fledged convention of its own, to make learning how to sew more available and affordable.
Performer Extraordinaire
Sara
Putting the ‘dynamic’ in dynamic duo, Sara is QaR’s performance and social media expert. She flexes her belly dancing, flow arts, aerial, fire bending, and drumming skills as a part of Belljahara, Troupe Sicorae, Norsefyre Traveling Circus, and Kokyo Taiko, as well as teaching at 9 Muses Studio in Lincoln, NE. You can find her dance videos on TikTok, Insta, and Facebook @sarasu.dancer.
